The effect of workplace discord on businesses and organisations is often underestimated. Relationships between team members and managers, uncertainty during reorganisation and fears of unfair treatment can all lead to suspicion and distrust, which in turn can and does lead to collapsing performance. Mediation is a great way of addressing underlying issues and rebuilding trust and morale.
